For PresentersSubmission Deadline – Presenters must provide logos, brief company & tool summaries, and a one-page layout for the Conference Program Guide. The top half of the page will describe the Vendor's presentation and the bottom half should provide information about the Vendor. All selected presenters must sign a Vendor Agreement with PMI-DVC and submit any fees prior to September 1, 2007. Audience – This event is being marketed to approximately 4000 local chapter members (DVC and NY Chapters). Communications to members will include event and presenter information. Attendance – PMI estimates approximately 250 to 300 attendees based on prior events. Attendee Profile – Presenters will have an opportunity to address some of the most active Project Management professionals and leaders on the East Coast. Local PMI members include corporate managers from a variety of industries including consulting professionals, educators and independent consultants. Attendees are profiled as influencers or direct purchasers. Format – The Conference will feature 10 primary presenters. Each vendor will provide a 60 minute presentation on a project management topic to demonstrate their related tool using a case study. Presentations will be educational for the attendees. Vendor will be required to repeat the presentation for three seatings of 20-30 attendees. Attendee Contact Information – Presenters may use sign-up lists, collect business cards, give out prizes or collect attendee information throughout the conference on their own. . Feedback – The conference team will supply all presenters summarized feedback collected the Conference regarding their presentation. Vendor/Presenter Costs – All presenters are responsible for their own travel costs, computers and presentation expenses. The Conference will provide a table, electrical, and projection screen. Presenters must supply their own projector or coordinate rental with planning team. A nominal participation fee of $350 is required which typically covers the cost of developing and producing the printed Conference Program Guide. All presenters are required to supply a give-away prize to all attendees following their presentation. Attendee Fee – Attendees will be charged $110 to $140 for this 7 hour event which includes refreshments, lunch and the opportunity to earn 6 Professional Development Units toward their recertification requirements. Conference Program Guide – A Conference Program Guide will be created for attendees to use in selecting their presentations and to take home for future reference. Presenters, not selected for this event, may also contribute to the guide at an additional cost. |
